Isang

Isang is a self-taught artist based in Davao City. She initially painted with watercolor, but has developed love and interest in oil and acrylics. She particularly focuses painting female portraits and likes incorporating random patterns and other features, like flowers, to add aesthetics to her works.

Although she considers herself a hobbyist, she also participates in art shows and exhibitions.

“I like to paint mundane faces; to me, they are the most expressive. And I paint them with busy background to distract the audience.”
